He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Louisiana State University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida State University. As a financial services professional, he earned a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and he is an active member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) where he served on the South Region Board. He is also an Enrolled Agent.

His career-long history in financial services includes an 11-year stint owning his own company on the trading floors of Chicago. M.G. Rivas Financial Inc. represented clients on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). He was a top producer while earning a global reputation for high ethical standards. His international experience as Vice President of BNP Securities USA, a division of Banque Nationale de Paris included running the firm’s fixed-income, derivatives, and equities desks worldwide. Working on the trading floor for over 18 years taught him to thrive as an independent customer advocate. While others were reading about it, he lived it. His passion is assisting your family by providing clarity for life!

As a dually licensed professional, Sara holds both CPA (2015) and CFP® (2019) designations, allowing her to bridge the gap between historical reporting and future-focused wealth creation.

Her “aha” moment came after years in public and corporate accounting. She realized that recording the past is useless if you aren’t actively steering towards the future. She is also the author of Clarity Beats Complexity, a short book for individuals and entrepreneurs who are ready to proactively address gaps in their wealth plan.

As a bilingual professional from a Hispanic household, Blanca is dedicated to offering culturally relevant guidance and support to a diverse range of clients. Her commitment to making tax planning accessible ensures that all clients feel confident in their financial decisions.

Blanca has been married for 16 years and is a mother of two. She leads an active lifestyle through soccer and CrossFit and is an enthusiastic supporter of her family’s local sports activities. Whether cheering from the sidelines or coaching her daughter’s teams, she values the importance of community and family engagement.
